Universal Banker II
Summary/objective
This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by being well-versed in teller work and customer service functions and provides loan support to the branch manager or lender by performing loan assistant duties.

- Opens various new depository account products and services
- Handles customer transactional needs such as processing deposits, withdrawals, check cashing requests, credit card advances, money orders, and other forms of negotiable items
- Cash handling, including but not limited to, counting, verifying and packaging of coins and currency, daily balancing of cash drawer, assisting with ATM balancing and replenishment
- Assists in the rotation of vault custodian (buy/sell cash to tellers, maintain sole control and vault security, count and balance the vault cash daily)
- Works with customers to update existing deposit accounts
- Maintains a well-developed, working knowledge of products, services and processes offered
- Accurately utilizes equipment and remains knowledgeable of equipment functionality to perform role
- Completes documents for special requests such as direct deposit, wire transfers, stop payments, etc.
- Assists with research of loans, organizes new and renewal loan documents, prepares loan file for closing, and issues loan proceeds checks.
- Responsible for bank opening and/or closing.
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained.
- Promotes the bank’s products and services.
- Represent the Bank in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all customers, potential customers and co-workers.
- Meet expectations for attendance & punctuality.

Physical demands
Standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Adjusting or moving objects up to 20 lbs.
Travel required
Some travel may be necessary as the need arises.
Required education and experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred education and experience
- Previous teller and cash handling experience preferred
- Knowledge of Community First Bank’s products, services and policies
- Knowledge of daily branch, vault and ATM operations
- Maintain knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues as appropriate
